Learning about road safety doesn’t have to be boring

< powrót

For the third time, we have implemented the “This is not a game” educational campaign, aimed at raising youth awareness of road safety. This year’s edition took place at two Poznan secondary schools: the da Vinci High School and the High School of Economics. Over 200 students participated in the event.

Instead of traditional classes, students had the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience that can truly impact their safety as future drivers and road users.

As part of the event, students had the opportunity to take advantage of:

  • an educational station demonstrating the impact of tyre quality on driving safety and braking distances;
  • a rollover simulator – a realistic experience of an emergency;
  • a safety test (involving a blue Mustang);
  • first aid exercises – how to ensure your own safety while assisting;
  • reflex exercises using alcogoggles – comparing reactions while sober and under the influence of alcohol.

The event was co-organised by the Atut Driver Training Centre and the Zakręceni company, which ensured that the training provided quality content and an engaging format.

Why do we do this? Because we believe that the knowledge shared during the event increases awareness of road hazards and safety for drivers, pedestrians, and participants, as well as our volunteers.
